Where is Letefoho?

Letefoho is a mountainous subdistrict of the Ermera region in Timor Leste (previously known as East Timor). The region includes the village of Letefoho. LETS works with communities right across the region of Letefoho, as distinct from the village of the same name.

Although it is only 72 kilometres from the capital city, Dili, it can take 2-3 hours to drive to Letefoho. This is due to poor road conditions, which become even harder to travel in the wet season.

The population of the Letefoho Parish is now over 25,000. You can find out more on the Letefoho Parish Facebook page or website.
