One of the key pillars of LETS is supporting projects that help the Letefoho community build self-sustainability and may have the potential to be a valuable income source in the future.

It’s wonderful to see these initiatives making a real difference:

🥬 Vegetable garden – providing teachers and students with hands-on learning while growing produce that can also be sold to the community. Looking forward to seeing the variety of plants that are being grown including broccoli, eggplant, lettuce, herbs and tomatoes.

🏠 Boarding houses – receiving a fresh coat of paint and kitchen improvements, ready to welcome guests from Dili, who will stay for 3 weeks to complete their company's formation program.

These are more than just projects — they are investments in education, opportunity and independence.

We’re proud to see the Letefoho community turning support into sustainable opportunities for the future. ❤️

Donations

How much of my money goes to the cause?

Everyone who works for LETS is a volunteer. We receive no benefit other than the joy of knowing that our projects make such a difference. It makes a world of difference to these remarkable people of Letefoho. They are so capable of doing so much with so little! Aside from a very small amount of money which goes to unavoidable fees to third party service providers (such as online payments fees), all money donated goes directly, 100%, to the cause.
